NET Table Tennis Centre was founded by two passionate and entrepreneurial table tennis enthusiasts who wanted more people to experience the sport.
Our mission is to inspire a love of table tennis and provide a friendly, inclusive environment where players of all ages and abilities can develop their skills and enjoy the game.
We combine high-quality facilities, experienced coaching and a strong sense of community, supporting players whether their goal is fun, fitness, confidence or competition.

Footwork, balance and hand–eye coordination bring physical movement and fine motor control together.
Playing with others adds conversation, shared purpose and the motivation that comes from an enjoyable activity.
Regular physical activity can support memory and thinking and help reduce the risk of cognitive decline and dementia. Research focused specifically on table tennis is also growing, with promising findings for cognitive, motor and psychosocial function.
That does not mean table tennis can guarantee prevention or cure Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. NET sessions are complementary wellbeing activities, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

John is an experienced player and former British League team manager. He helped take a team from the fourth division to the Premier Division and has competed in the World Veterans Table Tennis Championships. His wider sporting background includes squash, football and rugby.

George provides individual and group coaching for all ages and abilities. His sessions focus on structured progression, technical development, tactical understanding and long-term player growth. His experience in basketball and tennis adds a broad understanding of movement and coordination.
