Information we collect
We may collect:
- your name, email address, telephone number and the contents of an enquiry;
- information you provide when discussing playing sessions, coaching or other services;
- technical information recorded in server logs, such as an IP address, browser type, date, time and requested page; and
- if you accept optional cookies, analytics information about visits, pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location, device and browser type.
Please do not include medical or other sensitive information in the website contact form unless it is necessary for your enquiry.
How and why we use information
Enquiries and services
We use contact details to respond to questions, discuss sessions or coaching, make arrangements and provide requested services. Depending on the circumstances, this is necessary to take steps at your request before providing a service, to perform an agreement with you, or for our legitimate interest in communicating with players and prospective players.
Administration, safety and legal obligations
We may use relevant information to administer our activities, maintain appropriate records, protect participants and the organisation, resolve disputes, and comply with legal or regulatory requirements.
Website analytics, cookies and security
With your consent, we load our self-hosted Matomo analytics and allow it to set first-party analytics cookies. These help distinguish visits and understand how people use the website so that we can improve it. Matomo does not load if you reject optional cookies. We may also use hosting logs to maintain security, investigate faults and prevent abuse.
The homepage’s YouTube video is also treated as optional content. It loads automatically after optional cookies are accepted; if they are rejected, no YouTube connection is made. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Cookies and your choice
The cookie banner offers equally accessible options to accept or reject optional cookies. We store your choice in a strictly necessary preference cookie called netttc_cookie_consent for up to six months so that we do not repeatedly ask the same question.
If you accept, Matomo may set first-party cookies beginning _pk_. Its visitor cookie may last for up to 13 months and its session cookie typically lasts around 30 minutes. The optional YouTube video may also use cookies or similar technologies under Google’s policies once it is loaded.
If you reject, Matomo and YouTube are not loaded and their optional cookies are not set. Use the “Cookies” link in any page footer to revisit or withdraw your choice.
Who receives information
Personal information may be handled by authorised NET TTC personnel and by suppliers that provide website hosting, email, IT or professional services. We may also disclose information where required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect legal rights or safety.
We do not sell personal information. Where a service provider processes information outside the UK, we expect appropriate safeguards to be used as required by data protection law.
How long we keep information
We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected. The period depends on whether an enquiry develops into an ongoing relationship, whether records are needed for safety, accounting or legal reasons, and any applicable limitation or statutory period. Routine information that is no longer needed is deleted or securely disposed of. Analytics and server-log retention is reviewed and limited to what is reasonably necessary to operate and improve the website.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your personal information; restrict its use; receive certain information in a portable form; withdraw consent; and complain about how it is used.
You also have the right to object when we process your information on the basis of legitimate interests. To exercise a right, email geomil09@gmail.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
If you remain unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK data protection regulator.
Children
Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult when attending NET TTC. The website is not designed to collect personal information directly from children, and a parent or guardian should make website enquiries on their behalf.
Security and changes
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
We may update this policy when our services, technology or legal obligations change. The latest version and its revision date will always appear on this page.
